Having just completed the Arts Trail for this year, some quick thoughts and statistics.
Over 500 people visited the 12 stalls in the Methodist Church.
Over 80 people through our doors.
Lots of genuine interest and curiosity from people from all over the place (we had one visitor from Worcester!). And a few sales as well as donations for charity.
Its hard work to get the pieces finished in time, polished and displayed properly, never mind emptying the house of all the normal junk, find the urn for hot water for tea, the coffee machine for coffee, defrosting the cake, and chilling the wine and lemonade. Yes, this year was sunny enough for deck-chairs in the front garden alongside the “allium pompom” display there.
We have had a lot of fun. Many thanks to the organising committee in this, the 3rd year.
